20 years ago I…
1. was two years old.
2. talked incessantly.
3. was dressed in some of the dumbest clothes I’ve ever seen.

10 years ago I…
1. was a total Star Wars nerd
2. started Jr. High
3. played my last year of AYSO soccer

5 years ago I…
1. was captain of my High School’s Varsity football team

2. dated and broke up with my first “girlfriend” (we were never official, for the record).
3. Got my first car… a ‘94 Ford F-150, which I eventually named “The Ox”

3 years ago I…
1. Moved into Slight and roomed with Hugh and Houston Jackson
2. Read through the Gospels because I felt that I didn’t really know who Christ was.
3. Started attending Generations Bible Study, one of the cheif joys of my life.

1 year ago I…
1. Was in Israel, Seeing amazing things, studying the Bible, and learning very hard lessons I hadn’t expected learning, but definitely needed to.
2. grew a goatee… my first foray into facial hair… it was a disaster.
3. Realized that the Lord was calling me to Seminary and not Law School.

So far this year I…
1. Led a phenomenal 6-week missions trip to Uganda with a team of incredible people.
2. Drove cross-country with my best friend and his brothers.
3. was given a job (totally by the Lord) at TMC, the place where I’ve experienced the most happiness..

Yesterday I…
1. Watched every single deleted scene from Season 4 of The Office.
2. Took my co-worker John Melcon out for coffee and picked his brain about life, marriage, classic cars, Seminary education, and the current housing market.
3. Had steak for dinner…. and it was very, very good.

Today I…
1. Bought a super-cool hoodie at Old Navy with a 40%-off coupon my Dad had given me.
2. Drank two Pumpkin-Spice lattes from Starbucks and also brewed some Pumpkin Spice coffee in my office and then again at my house.
3. Got to hang out with my really cool brother and had a great discussion about how we ought to humbly interact with people.

Tomorrow I will…*
1. Go to beakfast at McDonald’s with my dad.
2. Clean off my desk, and pack clothes and prepare worship for Bible Study Retreat.
3. hopefully continue my study on the subject of Assurance of Salvation.

In the next year I will…*
1. Start taking classes at TMS and begin working on my Master’s of Divinity.
2. return to Israel for Sping 09’s Friends and Family trip.
3. return to Yosemite to go camping with my family.
